Mike Czysz hat seine WunderMaschine nichtmals [offiziell] getestet, waehrend selbst die Etablierten (Ducati/Proton/Aprilia) Schwierigkeiten hatten, im MotoGP-Zirkus mitzuhalten.
Burgess cool on new boy Czysz
One of the men behind Valentino Rossi's charge to the 2004 MotoGP title believes the latest American challenge will find it difficult to contend with the giants of the Japanese motorcycle industry.
Jerry Burgess is Rossi's crew chief at Gauloises Yamaha and will hope to help the Italian retain his title this season.
But Australian Burgess believes American millionaire Michael Czysz will struggle to challenge the might of the Japanese factories on the GP race tracks of the world.
Czysz is the man behind the experimental Motoczysz C1 which has yet to make its debut in testing let alone in serious competition.
And with Czysz still planning his strategy to take the machine from the drawing board to the race track Burgess is sceptical of his chances of a successful transformation.
With the likes of established Italian manufacturers Ducati and Aprilia and smaller outfits like Kenny Roberts' Proton-backed KR machine struggling to make a mark in MotoGP, Burgess expects any newcomers to find it twice as hard.
