Between races Mike Spence demonstrated a BRM H16, managing to break fastest lap at 4:44,8 (average 176 km/h) - absolute record of Brno track that will be broken only in 1972. by Jochen Mass in a Ford Capri RS. It will be the last year of this track configuration, no races in 1973. or 1974.
