beine waren noch dran
sogar laufen konnte er ohne probs noch
der heist übrigens federico nicht frederico *klugscheiss*
hier is nen unfall bericht von einem der das live gesehn hat
I was sitting under a tree at the exit of turn 6 and saw the whole
thing. He
wasn't going that fast, got on the throttle too early and spun to the
inside
and hit the right front on the inside tire wall. It wasn't that hard of
a
hit. It was scarry to see the driver sitting there with his legs hanging
out, totally exposed. I'm glad the corner workers got the rest of the
cars
slowed down. The driver was Federico Kroymans, the Ferrari and Maserati importer for the Netherlands, the car is a F399. He was able to get
himself
out of the car and limp around. He is tall and a bit overweight, so I
wonder
if they modified the monoque for him to fit. It was a clean break at the
bulkhead where the steering wheel attaches. I didn't take any pictures,
it
seemed kinda sick to...
He walked to the side of the track under his own power and the safety
crew
put an ice pack on one of his legs. He also walked to the safety vehicle and then to the Chrysler 300C course cars that took him back to the paddock. It wasn't a very fast hit, which is why it is so surprising that the front snapped off at the bulkhead.
I felt ill while he sat there with his legs hanging out and one could
hear
the other F1 cars approaching. Two of the other drivers stopped to help
him
before the safety car came.
He was very lucky indeed, if it had been a higher speed impact, he
wouldn't
be walking.
